In addition to the regular patrols conducted by Patrol Officers, citizens may request extra or specified patrols for their residence or neighborhood streets. There are multiple reasons for these requests for patrol including suspicious activity, recent crimes occurring, or a resident may request an officer to check on there home while they are on vacation or away for another reason.

Should a resident request an officer to check their residence periodically during vacations or other leaves of absence, the homeowner should provide a phone number where they can be released, a list of persons and vehicles that are permitted to be at the residence and at least one local person who has a key and/or alarm code in case of emergency.
