The Patrol Division is the largest division with the most sworn personnel. It’s main function is the protection of lives and property of the citizens of Pharr, maintaining the public order, preventing crime through uniform presence, and responding to calls for service.

In fulfilling this function, officers shall thoroughly investigate and document incidents, interact with the community to solve problems before police enforcement is required, and arrest violators for violations of city and state statutes.
